Monroe Police

MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the W5400 block of Wis. 11 at 5:03 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. A vehicle driven by Kyle E. Wing, 27, Davis, Illinois, collided with a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old Monroe woman. Wing was cited for driving too fast for conditions.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Saturday, Jan. 12:

●  Jacqueline A. Boss, 53, Monroe, reported minor injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 1:05 p.m. in the W7100 block of County B, Town of Clarno. She was eastbound when she lost control on the snow-covered road. Her vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Mariah B. Salas, 20, Beloit, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 2:54 p.m. in the N2200 block of County T, Town of Spring Grove. She was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to slick road conditions. Her vehicle exited the road and collided with a telephone box. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. The telephone box sustained disabling damage. The Brodhead Police Department assisted deputies on scene.

●  A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:14 p.m. in the Town of Jefferson. Brandi J. Smith, 34, South Wayne, was northbound on County S when she failed to yield at a stop sign while turning westbound onto Wis. 11. She collided with an eastbound vehicle on Wis. 11 driven by Sarah J. Rowley, 20, Juda. Rowley and a passenger reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Smith reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene. Smith was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol and released pending court. She was also cited for failure to yield right-of-way.

●  Justin M. Carreras, 24, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 8:04 p.m. in the W600 block of Ten Eyck Road, Town of Decatur. He was eastbound when he lost control due to slick road conditions. His vehicle exited the road and collided with a road sign, damaging the sign and post. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Jan. 11:

●  Daniel V. Larson, 54, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 4:58 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. No injuries were reported. His 2007 Jeep sustained minor damage.

●  Joseph M. Keiffer, 52, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:05 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. His 1997 Buick sustained minor damage.

●  A deputy responded at 8:19 p.m. to assist Darlington police with a two-vehicle accident on Center Hill Road in Darlington.

On Saturday, Jan. 12:

●  No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. tree crash at 1:15 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot. Dayna R. Olson, 25, Kenosha, lost control of her 2005 Dodge due to slippery road conditions.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 1:28 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

●  No injuries were reported from a semi truck vs. guardrail crash at 2:42 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington. Eric M. Argall, 26, Mineral Point, lost control of the semi due to slippery road conditions. The 1993 Peterbilt semi owned by Nyff Trucking LLC sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  A vehicle vs. plow accident was reported at 3:21 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton. Megan A. Muller, 40, Kieler, struck a plow owned by the Lafayette County Highway Department. Her 2016 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed.

●  Joan E. Wasley, 33, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 4:56 p.m. on County O, Town of Kendall. Her 2011 GMC sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 4:49 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 5:07 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

●  Candace M. Paquin, 32, Browntown, reported hitting a deer at 11:27 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. Her 2012 Dodge sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday, Jan. 13:

●  Minor injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 12:58 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. Alex D. Reuter, 17, Darlington, was traveling too fast for conditions and went off the road. His 2002 Buick went into the ditch and hit a tree. The Buick sustained severe damage and was towed. The Darlington Fire and Police Departments and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted deputies on scene.

●  Grace A. Morrissey, 17, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 7:57 p.m. on Aetna Road, Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported. Her 2003 Cadillac sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
