DARLINGTON — Robert J. Leifker, 64, Cuba City, was flown by MedFlight helicopter to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Shullsburg reported at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. Mark L. Russell, 66, Shullsburg, was pulling out from a farm driveway to turn northbound on Wis. 11 when he failed to yield to Leifker’s northbound vehicle and struck the driver’s side, causing the vehicle to roll over. Russell was uninjured. Leifker’s 2014 Chevrolet and Russell’s 2002 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and were towed. Shullsburg EMS, the Shullsburg Fire Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted deputies on scene.

●  Larry T. Warren, 76, Dubuque, Iowa, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 11 at 5:07 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13. No injuries were reported. His 2011 Buick sustained moderate damage and was towed.

On Saturday, Dec. 15:

●  Minor injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 7:52 a.m. in South Wayne. Cynthia A. Nielson, 60, Argyle, was traveling on Wis. 11 when her 2008 Mazda was rear-ended by a 2012 Chevrolet driven by Brianna M. Price, 25, Monroe. Both vehicles were towed. Price was cited for inattentive driving. The South Wayne Fire Department, South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS assisted a deputy on scene.

●  Thomas R. McWilliams, 78, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 9:30 p.m. on County O, Town of Kendall. No injuries were reported. His 2018 Subaru sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday, Dec. 16:

●  A vehicle vs. hay bale accident without injuries was reported at 1:43 p.m. in the Town of Blanchard. Skye M. Havens, 41, Blanchardville, was traveling on County F when a hay bale fell off the trailer he was pulling with his 2005 Dodge. A 2001 Jeep driven by Paul M. Ketring, 48, Middleton, then struck the bale. The Jeep sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Monday, Dec. 17:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 4:16 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs. Jacob C. Fox, 24, Scales Mound, Illinois, was southbound when he lost control while negotiating a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the road and come to rest in the ditch. The 2002 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed.

●  Minor injuries were reported due to airbag deployment in a one-vehicle accident at 9:35 p.m. in the Town of Benton. Michael R. Dean, 16, Cuba City, was traveling on Roaster Road when he lost control of the 2002 Pontiac he was driving, causing it to enter the ditch. The Pontiac sustained moderate damage and was towed. The Benton Fire Department, Benton First Response, Cuba City EMS and the Cuba City Police Department assisted deputies on scene.

On Tuesday, Dec. 18:

●  Jimmy L. Marty, 44, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:56 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. He was not injured. His 2013 Chevrolet sustained severe damage and was towed.

●  Joseph H. Ruppert, 87, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:31 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. No injuries were reported. His 2005 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Martha S. Dillon, 55, Apple River, Illinois, reported hitting a deer at 7:28 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot. No injuries were reported. Her 2018 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
