JORDAN TOWNSHIP - A Monroe woman was flown by Medflight helicopter to a Madison hospital with extensive injuries from a one-car crash midday Monday, Oct. 7.
Joy L. King, 46, has since been discharged from the University of Wisconsin Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.
King was southbound in the N4500 block of Skinner Hollow Road shortly after 1 p.m. when she veered her 1996 Toyota Corolla off the road, hit a fence and "nudged" a tree, according to Green County Chief Deputy Richard Wyttenbach, interim sheriff.
She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and sustained extensive injuries in the crash, he said.
