MADISON - William Walters Jr. (Bill) age 76 passed away on Feb. 20, 2013 at the Oregon Manor Nursing Home.
Bill was born in Monroe WI on March 17, 1936, to William H. Walters Sr. and Naomi (Cecil) Walters, both deceased.
Bill worked many years for Joe Daniels Construction Company in Madison.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Geraldine (Gilbertson) Walters, his son Brian K. Walters and his grandson Michael B. Kundert.
He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Walters, LuAnne (Gary) Eckstein, Laura (Duane) Winkelman, his sisters Rose Marie Schmidt (Spud), Mary Ann Isley (Misty), Beverly (Raul) Walters-Rivera, grandchildren Brice Walters, Sheila Wickline, Jessie Gretebeck, Ryan Winkelman, Mackenzie Winkelman, great grandchildren Malachai Smith and Kyara Prince.
Even though Bill will be greatly missed he is now back with his soul mate and at peace.
We would like to thank Oregon Manor Nursing Home and Agrace Hospice for their attentive and loving care that they provided to Bill in the last months of his life.
Join us to celebrate the life of William Walters on March 17, 2013 at the Monroe City Hall (1110 18th Ave - basement) from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
