Vivian A. Lerch of Albany, Wisconsin, entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 6, 2010. She was born on September 10, 1933 in Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of Hannah (Martin) and Victor Pernot. Vivian attended Brooklyn Elementary and High School graduating in May of 1951.

Vivian married Douglas T. Lerch on June 19, 1965 in St. Patrick Church, Albany, WI and they celebrated 45 years of marriage this past June. Vivian spent most of her life in the field of education. She graduated from Green County Teacher's College in Monroe in May of 1957. Her teaching jobs included Peterson School near Brooklyn for two years, Brooklyn Elementary School for four years, Albany Elementary School for four years, teacher's assistant in the Chapter I program for 16 years working with students from Grade 1-6 for six years, & for 10 years she tutored High School students in the Chapter I At Risk Program. She loved teaching and working with children. Vivian served on the Albany School Board from 1970-75. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and Altar Society serving as president & secretary, the Friends of Albany Library, and the Albany Historical Society.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Douglas of Albany; daughter, Rochelle (Dan) Cashman of Albany; sons, Shawn (Lisa) of Madison & Dean of Albany grandson, Tyler Van Dusen of Albany; granddaughter, Natalie Cashman of Albany; sisters, Marilyn Elsner of Black River Falls & Pauline Wittenwyler of Watertown; and brothers, Donald & Richard Pernot of Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her Parents; sister, Joyce Pernot; brothers-in-law, Bruce Wittenwyler & Emmett Elsner; and special nephew, Charles Elsner.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Albany.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Albany with Fr. Michael Moon Celebrating and Pastor Robert Vetter assisting. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Albany.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Vivian's Memory.

Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home of Monroe is assisting the family.
