NEW GLARUS - No one was injured an a two-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Roy's Market. Police report Pamela K. Deegan, 52, rural New Glarus, and William S. Flaherty, 62, Monroe, were both backing up when their vehicles collided.

MONROE - One person was injured in an ATV crash that occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the W6800 block of Melvin Road in the Town of Clarno. Deputies report Trevor R. Frie, 19, Monroe, stated he was operating his ATV when he lost traction on loose gravel. The ATV then caught on some solid ground, causing the ATV to lurch, and Frie then fell from the ATV. Frie was not wearing a helmet, but was wearing glasses. Frie sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital by private vehicle. The ATV received moderate damage and was removed from the scene by the operator.
One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, on Wisconsin 11, east of County OK, Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report Norah G. Perry, 21, Monroe, was westbound on Wis. 11 when a receipt flew up, and she attempted to catch it. Perry advised deputies that she veered into the north ditch gravel and lost control of her vehicle. Perry's vehicle then struck a highway sign and went down a deep embankment, coming to a rest on its wheel. Perry sustained injuries, but refused medical transport. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene. Perry was cited for failure to maintain control and was released pending court. Wisconsin State Patrol also responded.
Kenneth D. Polkinghorn, 56, New Glarus, was southbound at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, when a deer collided with his vehicle in the N5800 block of County N in the Town of Washington. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - One person received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Sunday on College Farm Road in Belmont Township. Deputies report Courtney Buskee, 18, Platteville was eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle, which left the road, struck a culvert and overturned in a field. Buskee reported minor injuries. The vehicle was a total loss and towed from the scene.
Robert Cook, 49, Shullsburg, reported striking a horse at about 12:35 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove township. The vehicle received minor damage.
Jennie Evans, 39, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday on County O in Seymour township.
Brittany White, 19, Monroe, reported striking a deer at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in Blanchard township.
