MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69 at County C in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Deputies report Scott M. Sargent, 44, Apple River, Ill., was northbound on Wis. 69, when a vehicle driven by Eric C. Schmid, 17, Monticello, was stopped at the stop sign on County C and attempting to travel straight into the Village of Monticello. Schmid pulled out in front of the Sargent vehicle. Sargent said he swerved in an attempt to miss the Schmid vehicle, but struck the vehicle. Schmid said he did not see Sargent's vehicle. The Sargent vehicle received moderate damage. Both vehicles received moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Schmid was cited for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign and released pending court. Monticello Police Department assisted.

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:30 p.m. Friday on County T north of West Douglas Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report Tyler D. Donahue, 21, Fond Du Lac, was traveling southbound when a vehicle came into his lane of traffic. Donahue swerved left and collided with the bridge railing. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The bridge rail received minor damage.

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle rollover at about 7:30 a.m. Friday to the W8500 block of Prairie View Road, Town of Adams. Deputies report Macy Jane Svendsen, 28, Argyle, was westbound on Prairie View Road, when her truck slid out of control. The vehicle entered the ditch on the south side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and came to a rest on its side. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Road conditions were a contributing factor, reports said.

Amy M Lee, 21, Browntown, was southbound when a deer collided with the driver side of the car at about 5:45 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Allen Road and Cadiz Spring Road in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Chad A. Woodruff, 20, Browntown, was westbound when he collided with a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Town Center Road east of County OK in the Town of Spring Grove. The vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

Andrew D. Peterson, 53, New Glarus, was westbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 6:15 a.m. Friday in the W6600 block of Wis. 39 in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage but Peterson drove it from the scene.

Deputies were dispatched at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the W5200 block of County KK in the Town of Monroe. Deputies report the vehicle was located in a ditch with front-end damage and the operator had left the area. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

DARLINGTON - One person received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs. Deputies report Thomas E. Larson, 51, Darlington, after stopping at a stop sign, proceeded onto Wis. 23, but failed to see a southbound vehicle driven by Mark A. Ranum, 56, Darlington. Larson stuck the driver's side of Ranum's vehicle. The impact pushed Ranum's vehicle into the west ditch, where it overturned. The Larson vehicle was driven from the scene. The Ranum vehicle was towed. Larson was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted.

No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Friday on County F in the Town of Layette. Deputies report Micala Marie Peterson, 16, Argyle, lost control of her vehicle on snow-covered roads. The vehicle crossed the center line, hit the ditch and rolled onto its top. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
