Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on West 21st Street and 4th Avenue in Monroe. Deputies report Shaun Michael Kelley, 17, Monroe, was traveling west on 21st Street and lost control of the vehicle when a bee got into the vehicle. The vehicle rolled over and came to a stop on its roof. Kelley sustained injuries, but declined medical transport. Kelley and his passengers stated they were wearing seatbelts. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Kelley was cited for violation of graduated driver's license and released pending court. Monroe Police Department and Green County EMS also responded.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot area of Blackhawk Schools in South Wayne. Deputies report an Argyle Schools bus operated by John W. Bruehlman, 80, Argyle, was backing when it struck a parked vehicle owned by Lucy Roper, South Wayne. Neither vehicle had any passengers at the time of the accident.

Casey L. Williams, 24, Apple River, Ill., reported striking a raccoon Wisconsin 11 in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
