MONROE - A vehicle driven by Steven W. Trost, 56, Monroe, and a deer collided at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the W9700 block of County C. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday on Mitchell Hollow Road in the Town of Belmont. Deputies report Larry A. Jerrett, 31, Platteville, was injured when he lost control of his vehicle on the slippery road. The vehicle crossed the center line and struck the wall of a bridge. Jerrett was transported to Southwest Health Center for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle received moderate damage and towed from the scene. Jerrett was cited for failure to have insurance. Belmont Fire and Belmont Ambulance assisted at the scene.
