Monroe Police

MONROE - Minor injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 7:52 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 17th Avenue and 16th Street. Reports indicate that Autumn M. Pehl, 16, Monroe, hit a car driven by Shannon A. Dundee, 28, Monroe. Both drivers were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Pehl was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 4:54 a.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69, north of Gutzmer Road. Reports indicate that Amy L. Thrun, 31, Monroe, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

• Green County Sheriff's deputies completed an investigation of a car accident that occurred at 12:42 a.m. Sept. 10 on Wis. 11/81, near High School Road, in the Town of Sylvester. Reports indicate that Cody A. Sensabaugh, 26, Janesville, was west on Wis. 11 when his vehicle went off the north side of the road, overcorrected, came back onto the road and lost control. The vehicle re-entered the north side of the road sideways and went down the embankment where it had struck a metal fence post. Sensabaugh fled the scene before deputies arrived. There was moderate damage to the front, passenger and driver's sides, the rear, and two flat tires on the driver's side and was towed from the scene. Sensabaugh was cited for failure to notify law enforcement of a crash, driving too fast for conditions/failure to maintain control, seatbelt violation, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

DARLINGTON - Cheryl A. McGuire, 53, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 7:54 a.m. Thursday on County F in the Town of Blanchard.

• Elijah Humphrey, 17, Shullsburg, hit a deer at 7:42 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington.

n Irvin G. Ganzhubner, 58, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 8:04 p.m. Thursday on Old Q Road in the Town of Argyle.
