MONROE - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Friday on County C near Marshall Bluff Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Hillary Hughes, 16, Evansville, failed to negotiate a curve, went down an embankment and overturned. Hughes and her passenger, Matthew Rolli, 14, Belleville, sustained injuries. Her vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• Rene Viera Pueblita, 24, Brodhead, was arrested for drunken driving following a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Friday on County KK near Union Road. Deputies report Pueblita's vehicle left the road and hit a tree. He and his passengers sustained injuries. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11:45 a.m. Friday on County C and County N. Deputies report a vehicle driven by James C. Lampman, 79, Belleville, collided with a vehicle driven by Christopher R. OlearyBrian Gray 8/30/08 name cq according to GC Sheriff report, 17, Monticello. Oleary's truck went into the ditch and hit a road sign. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Oleary was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Friday at County C and County X in Brooklyn township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jeremy S. Eccles, 32, Roscoe, Ill., failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit an embankment and a fence. Eccles was arrested for second-offense drunken driving, failure to report an accident and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured when a tire came off a trailer at about 3:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11 west of Short Lane in Sylvester township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dale T. Steadman, 51, Brodhead, was pulling a trailer when a tire came off the trailer. The tire bounced down the road and hit a semi driven by Ryan M. Krahn, 23, Bristol. The semi received moderate damage.
