MONROE - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Friday on County C near Marshall Bluff Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Hillary Hughes, 16, Evansville, failed to negotiate a curve, went down an embankment and overturned. Hughes and her passenger, Matthew Rolli, 14, Belleville, sustained injuries. Her vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
Rene Viera Pueblita, 24, Brodhead, was arrested for drunken driving following a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Friday on County KK near Union Road. Deputies report Pueblita's vehicle left the road and hit a tree. He and his passengers sustained injuries. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. No further information was available.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11:45 a.m. Friday on County C and County N. Deputies report a vehicle driven by James C. Lampman, 79, Belleville, collided with a vehicle driven by Christopher R. OlearyBrian Gray 8/30/08 name cq according to GC Sheriff report, 17, Monticello. Oleary's truck went into the ditch and hit a road sign. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Oleary was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

Eccles, 32, Roscoe, Ill., failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit an embankment and a fence. Eccles was arrested for second-offense drunken driving, failure to report an accident and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage.
No one was injured when a tire came off a trailer at about 3:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11 west of Short Lane in Sylvester township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dale T. Steadman, 51, Brodhead, was pulling a trailer when a tire came off the trailer. The tire bounced down the road and hit a semi driven by Ryan M. Krahn, 23, Bristol. The semi received moderate damage.
