MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 9 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 6th Street. Police report vehicle driven by Brandon J. Flannery, 22, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Justin E. Eddy, 27, Monroe. Flannery was cited for failure to obey sign or signal and was released pending court.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 8th street and 3rd Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Jay R. Johnson, 19, Rockford, Ill., collided with a vehicle driven by Joseph M. Best, 76, Monroe. Johnson was cited for inattentive driving, operating with no valid driver's license and violation of a red traffic signal. Johnson was released pending court.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9 p.m. Friday on Pine Tree Road near Cadiz Springs Road in the Town of Jordan. Deputies report that a pick-up truck driven by Robert W. Huber, 17, Monroe, failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree with the passenger side of the truck. Huber reported minor injuries but declined medical attention. The impact knocked the bed off of the truck causing severe damage. The truck was towed from the scene. Huber was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and released pending court.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, on Wisconsin 81 near Skinner Hollow Road in the Town of Jordan. Deputies report that a vehicle driven by Lucas R. Stoehr, 16, rural Argyle, was westbound when he fell asleep and entered the ditch on the north side of the highway. Stoehr overcorrected, skidded across the highway and into the ditch where he collided with a fence owned by Carousel Farms. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene. Stoehr was cited for inattentive driving and release pending court.
Deputies were called to investigate a report of a hit and run crash at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at an establishment on County KK in the Town of Monroe. Deputies report that a vehicle owned by Heather L. Simmons, 21, Freeport, Ill., was parked legally and unoccupied when a second vehicle collided with the rear driver's side of Simmons' vehicle causing minor damage. The striking vehicle then fled the area. The case remains under investigation.
A deer collided with a vehicle driven by William R. Austin, 44, Brodhead, at about 9:15 p.m. Friday, in the W500 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Spring Grove. The truck received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
