BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - A traffic crash was reported at 1:39 p.m. Saturday on private property in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No injuries were reported at 7:25 p.m. Sunday after Jerry R. Davis, Jr., 43, Monroe, committed a hit-and-run crash in the 400 block of West 21st Street. Davis was arrested for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and was cited for committing a hit-and-run, driving with a revoked license and without vehicle insurance.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, a driver was injured at 8:51 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover crash on Wisconsin 104, Town of Decatur. Maggie E. Garthwaite, 18, Monroe, lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch, where her vehicle overturned after striking an embankment. Garthwaite was injured and was transported to a local hospital. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and was cited for failing to maintain control of her vehicle, driving with open intoxicants and underage consumption of alcohol. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Sunday:

• A truck driver was injured at 7:18 a.m. after the truck of Derek W. Luchsinger, 27, Monticello, overturned on the shoulder of in the N3400 block of County F, Town of Decatur. Luchsinger was injured and was transported to a local hospital. His truck and the trailer sustained very severe damage and were towed from the scene. The trailer, which was transporting milk, also ruptured as a result. The crash remains under investigation.

• A motorcyclist was injured at 3:54 p.m. after Derek W. Brandt, 31, South Beloit, lost control of his motorcycle in the W4000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Sylvester and was ejected from the bike. Brandt was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. His bike sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday, Magdalena Martinez-Perez, 38, Darlington, committed a hit-and-run at 4:14 p.m. on County G, Town of Fayette. She was later arrested for driving without a license.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 9:33 a.m. after Stephen J. Webber, 56, Darlington, struck a deer on County G, Town of Fayette. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• Minor injuries were reported at 7:58 p.m. after an ATV rollover crash on Fort Defiance Road, Town of Fayette. Amie B. Obrien, 33, Darlington, was cited for an ATV violation.

• No injuries were reported at 8:45 p.m. after Tristan W. Robbins, 20, Shullsburg, struck a deer on Ridge Road, Town of New Diggings. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Monday:

• No injuries were reported after Adam T. Menehan, 31, Brodhead, swerved to avoid striking a deer and entered a ditch on County N, Town of Argyle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:55 p.m. after a vehicle vs. buggy crash on County G, Town of Belmont. Martin J. Richardson, 51, Muscoda, rear-ended an Amish buggy after being blinded by the setting sun while cresting a hill. Richardson was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance, non-registration of a vehicle, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and improper tread depth. His vehicle sustained minor damage. The buggy was irreparably damaged.
