Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:45 a.m. Monday in the W1600 block of Decatur-Albany Road in Decatur township. Deputies report John D. Pluss, 19, Monroe, was backing a heavy-duty truck out a private driveway when he backed across the road and into the ditch where it overturned onto its side. The truck received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Marie Arnsmeier, 18, Monroe hit a deer at about 10:45 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 81 near Jordan Center Road in Jordan township. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Monday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report mechanical problems caused Collen R. McCarten, 44, Darlington, to lose control of her vehicle. The vehicle traveled into the right ditch and rolled over onto its side. The vehicle received minor damage but was towed from the scene because of the mechanical problems.
