MONROE - No injuries were reported at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 during a two-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of 11th Street. Umavathy Manoharan, 43, Monroe, was traveling southbound on 15th Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign on 11th Street. Manoharan hit a vehicle driven by Darris W. Henning, 54, Monroe. Both vehicles had moderate damage. Manaharan was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and he was released.

MONROE - Injuries were reported at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 during a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wisconsin 11, at County GG, in the Town of Spring Grove. Mason T. Obermann, 17, Brodhead, was going eastbound on Wis. 11 when he slowed down to turn right onto County GG. Obermannn did not see a truck, driven by Bruce M. Trumble, 22, Juda, going westbound on Wis. 11. Obermann turned in front of Trumble and the vehicles collided. Obermann received injuries but declined EMS. Obermann's passenger did not receive any injuries. Trumble was not injured. Both vehicles received severe damage and were towed.Brodhead EMS, police and fire assisted at the scene.
