MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of West Seventh Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Zackary Johnson, 16, Browntown, backed into a vehicle owned by Mary Austin, Monroe. Both vehicles received minor damage.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on Freeport Road and Theiler Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Cassandra J. Einbeck, 16, Monroe, failed to stop at a stop sign, went through an intersection and hit a tree. Einbeck was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries. Two passengers in the vehicle, Nikolette S. McGregor and Miranda C. Maresch, both 15 and both from Monroe, were wearing seatbelts and also were injured. All were treated at Monroe Clinic. The crash remains under investigation and citations are pending.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Tuesday in the W5500 block of Hefty Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mersadi Hilliard, 16, Monticello, swerved to avoid a deer, left the road and hit an embankment. Hilliard was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries. She was taken to Monroe Clinic. She was cited for not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Richard F. Dallman, 41, Brooklyn, hit a deer at about 8 p.m. Tuesday in the W1000 block of Elmer Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about noon Tuesday on County G in Argyle township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Gary J. Schmid, 48, Monroe, left the road, went into a field and hit a tree. Schmid was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Argyle Ambulance. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. The Monroe Police Department and Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Jaymie J. Allen, 52, Stockton, Ill., hit a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 11 in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
