Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported after Travis J. Wealti, 28, Belleville, southbound on Wisconsin 92, failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch and overturned at 7:56 a.m. at the intersection of Wis. 92 and County W in the Town of Exeter. Wealti then fled the scene. While the crash was being investigated, Wealti returned. Wealti was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle and failure to notify law enforcement of a crash. The truck had severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Kenneth L. Linck, 71, Janesville, moved into the left lane at 11:14 p.m. at the Wis. 11 and Wis. 81 interchange in Monroe, striking a van traveling eastbound beginning to merge onto Wis. 11. The driver of the van briefly stopped and then fled the scene. The van was described as silver with a temporary license plate that was partially torn off. Linck was wearing his seatbelt. His truck had minor damage and was towed from the scene. Anyone with information should contact the sheriff's office.

• Eric S. Rackow struck a deer in the N3900 block of County N in Monroe.

• Matthew A. Brown struck a deer in the N4100 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe.

• Willie B. Simmons struck a deer in the N7800 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported when David H. Voegeli, 69, South Wayne, struck a deer at 6:12 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Argyle Township. His 2014 Chevrolet received minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Becky J. Stietz, 29, Gratiot, struck a deer at 11:55 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township. Her 2016 Kia had minor damage.
