MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about noon Saturday in the W2700 block of County C. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by James E. Trede, 51, Menomonee Falls, failed to negotiate a curve due to gravel on the road. Trede was thrown from the motorcycle. He was Med-Flighted to an area hospital.
Elliot P. Faber, 21, New Glarus, was cited Monday for defective tires, failure to report an accident and driving with a suspended license following an investigation into a one-vehicle accident that took place Oct. 8 on Edelweiss Road at Valley View Road. Deputies report Faber's vehicle left the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Faber sustained injuries.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Monday in the N3000 block of Wisconsin 81. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrew P. Koch, 28, Freeport, Ill., made an improper turn and hit a vehicle driven by Phillip G. Stewart, 58, Monroe. The vehicles received moderate damage.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Puddledock Road near Wildlife Road in Adams township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrue E.K. Moen, 19, Argyle, left the road, went into a ditch and hit a tree. No further information was available.
