MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about noon Saturday in the W2700 block of County C. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by James E. Trede, 51, Menomonee Falls, failed to negotiate a curve due to gravel on the road. Trede was thrown from the motorcycle. He was Med-Flighted to an area hospital.

• Elliot P. Faber, 21, New Glarus, was cited Monday for defective tires, failure to report an accident and driving with a suspended license following an investigation into a one-vehicle accident that took place Oct. 8 on Edelweiss Road at Valley View Road. Deputies report Faber's vehicle left the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Faber sustained injuries.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Monday in the N3000 block of Wisconsin 81. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrew P. Koch, 28, Freeport, Ill., made an improper turn and hit a vehicle driven by Phillip G. Stewart, 58, Monroe. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Puddledock Road near Wildlife Road in Adams township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrue E.K. Moen, 19, Argyle, left the road, went into a ditch and hit a tree. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday on Melvin Road near Steiner Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Miranda C. Friske, 17, Monroe, swerved to avoid a deer, left the road and hit a cable box. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A Green County Sheriff's Department squad car driven by Deputy Curtis Quinn hit a deer at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the W500 block of Yardwood Road.

• A vehicle driven by Edwin G. Gerner, 64, New Glarus, hit a deer at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday in the N8400 block of County A. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Sarah A. Cupps, 44, Mount Horeb, hit a deer at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the N4100 block of County J. the vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Evan K. Lentz, 21, Freeport, hit a deer at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the N700 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by David L. Laskowski, 53, McFarland, hit a deer at about 6:30 a.m. Monday in the W1800 block of Wis. 59 in Albany township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Randall L. Smith, 54, South Wayne, hit a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Monday in the W6500 block of Wis. 11. The vehicle received minor damage.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on Buncombe Road in Benton township. Michael K. Letcher, 39, Hazel Green, was arrested for drunken driving. No further information was available.

• A vehicle driven by Stephanie C. Cuevas, 16, Argyle, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Wiota township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Mark E. Liphart, 50, South Wayne, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Friday on Wayne Center Road in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Dennis L. Holverson, 45, Browntown, hit a deer at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday on County M in Wiota township.
