MONROE - On Thursday, Oct. 10:
• Steven G. Maaske, 55, Monticello, reported no injuries at 5:20 a.m. from a deer vs. vehicle collision on Wisconsin 69 near Gutzmer Road. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.
• No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 3:06 p.m. on Wis. 81 at Joy Del Road in Monroe Township. James A. Larson, 63, Monroe, was westbound and didn't realize traffic in front of him had stopped because he was looking at eastbound farm machinery. His car collided with a truck ahead of him driven by Mark A. West, 50, Monroe. West was stopped in the westbound lane, waiting for eastbound traffic to clear before making a left turn onto Joy Del Road. Larson's car sustained moderate damage. West's truck sustained minor damage. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
