GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on County B east of Steiner Road, Cadiz township. According to deputies, Gregoria P. Ugalde Alcantara, 46, Freeport, overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle after it entered the gravel shoulder. The vehicle entered the ditch and became airborne off an embankment. Ugalde Alcantara sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Monroe Clinic emergency room. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Ugalde Alcantara was cited for operating with no valid driver's license and was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Hans Thomas Hedlund, 39, Eden Prairie, Minn., hit a deer at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 69 near Peerless Road, New Glarus township. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Dawn R. Lederman, 44, Brodhead, hit a deer at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 11 east of Wis. 59, Monroe Township. The vehicle received minor damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - At about 3 p.m. Wednesday, deputies took a report of a person injured in an ATV accident. The person was treated at Monroe Clinic for injuries received. The accident remains under investigation.

• Lynn M. OConnell 46, Benton, reported sustaining minor injuries when her vehicle hit a deer at about 9 p.m. Wednesday on County I in New Diggings township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No injuries were reported after a Black Hawk School bus, driven by Ernest L. Noble, 69, Woodford, hit a deer at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on County N in Wayne township. There was no information provided regarding damage to the bus.

• A vehicle driven by Suzanne R. Ula, 43, Blanchardville, hit a deer at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on County F in Blanchard township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by LeeAnn K. Kurschner, 17, Darlington, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Wednesday on County M in Wiota township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
