MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Three children were injured at 5:15 p.m. after a three-vehicle collision in the 400 block of Wisconsin 69. Carin Yokasta Mota, 30, Monroe, struck the vehicle of Kris M. Simplot, 33, Beloit, before striking the vehicle of a 50-year-old Monroe man. Three passengers in Simplot's vehicle, aged 4, 7 and 16, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the Monroe Clinic. Mota was cited for failing to yield the right of way, while Simplot was cited for driving with a revoked license. All three vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:48 a.m. after Benjamin D. N. Wenger, 18, Brodhead, backed into the vehicle of Kelly J. Richardson, 49, Brodhead in the N1200 block of Mount Hope Road, Town of Spring Grove. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Shannon B. Bennett, 27, Monroe, struck a deer in the W5000 block of County KK, Town of Monroe.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:28 a.m. after Kyle J. Holverson, 30, Belleville, struck a culvert and a fence in the W6800 block of County C, Town of Washington. Holverson then left the scene of the crash on foot. Holverson's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

• No injuries were reported after Lynette Marie Winchell-Andrews, 45, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W9600 block of Wis. 81, Town of Adams.

• No injuries were reported after Travis L. Murray, 32, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W1400 block of County EE, Town of Albany.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported at 8:40 p.m. Monday after Beatrice E. Averkamp, 30, East Dubuque, Illinois, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:30 p.m. after Michelle J. Kazda, 44, Linden, struck a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:18 p.m. after Maria T. Lax, 43, Fitchburg, struck the vehicle of Alan R. Montanye, 17, Shullsburg, before also striking a stop sign at the intersection of County U and W, Town of White Oak Springs. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.

On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 7:38 p.m. after Elvis L. Ladow, 33, Gratiot, struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:31 p.m. after Daniel S. Behl, 54, Watertown, struck a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:56 a.m. after Brandon K. Lesandrini, 21, Platteville, struck an unattended vehicle on County J, Town of Benton. Lesandrini was cited for driving left of center and committing a hit-and-run. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 10:05 p.m. after Valerie M. Atkinson, 45, Mineral Point, struck a deer on County G, Town of Willow Springs. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 11:35 p.m. after Michael V. Lauffer, 21, Mineral Point, struck a deer on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:35 p.m. after Lynelle W. Moseley, 48, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

• No injuries were reported at 7:01 p.m. after Charles L. Ramseyer, 50, Blanchardville, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
