Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Christopher T. Zagorianakos, 43, Columbus, was involved in a semi crash with injuries at 5:54 a.m. on County S in the Town of Sylvester. He was northbound on County S when he failed to stop at a stop sign at Wisconsin 59 and went through the intersection into a corn field. Zagorianakos was injured but declined to be transported by EMS. The semi and trailer had moderate damage and was towed. He was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and no seat belt. He was released pending court. Albany Fire and Albany EMS also responded.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported when Jason A. Ludlum, 42, Platteville, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 5:37 p.m. on County O in Seymour Township. Ludlum was traveling on County O when he swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle that crossed the center line causing him to strike a guard rail. The 2002 International, owned by New Horizons Energy LLC, sustained moderate damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Carolyn A. Laeser, 69, Argyle, struck a deer at 5:48 p.m. on County G in Argyle Township. Laeser's 2014 Nissan sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Michele J. Trapino, 45, Shullsburg, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 11:35 p.m. on County U in White Oak Springs Township. Trapino was traveling on County U when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the ditch. Trapino was cited for operating while intoxicated (1st), unreasonable and imprudent speed and failure to maintain control Trapino's Mercedes-Benz sustained moderate damage and was towed. Chad W. Kruser, 36, Hazel Green, was arrested for operating while intoxicated (3rd) and was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released. Kruser was not involved in the traffic crash. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS assisted.

On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported when Ronald J. Westemeier, 50, Darlington, struck a deer on County O in Kendall Township. The 2006 Chevrolet owned by the Township of Kendall sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday:

• Sally M. Pooler, 74, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right way from a stop sign after a traffic crash at 3:22 p.m. on West 10th Street and 4th Avenue. Pooler collided with a vehicle operated by a 34-year-old male from Darlington. Pooler had minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
