Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported when Victoria A. Hicks, 27, Monroe struck a sheep at 5:56 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township. Her 2012 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Eugene E. Haldiman, 69, South Wayne, struck a deer at 10:23 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. Haldiman's 2012 Ram sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Jennifer E. Jones, 38, Beloit, struck a deer at 10:39 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township. Her 2017 Nissan sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported when Alex R. Schultz, 35, Shullsburg, struck a deer at 5:59 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. Schultz's 2016 Ford Fiesta received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Marvin G Engelke, 69, Blanchardville, struck a deer at 8:30 p.m. on County G in Willow Springs Township. Engelke's 2012 Hyundai Sonata sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Monday:

• A deputy responded at 12:57 a.m. to County G in Kendall Township for a one-vehicle crash.

• No injuries were reported when Maribel Cervantes-Hernandez, 30, Darlington, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 2:56 a.m. on County F in Fayette Township. Cervantes-Hernandez was traveling on County F when she lost control of her 2004 GMC. She was cited for no valid driver's license and failure to maintain control of vehicle. The GMC sustained severe damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Edgar A. Romero-Durduerte, 26, Darlington, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 5:12 a.m. on County G in Kendall Township. He was traveling on County G when he lost control of his 1999 Honda. Romero-Durduerte was cited for no valid driver's license and no proof of insurance. The Honda sustained severe damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Gary C. Knebel, 62, Oconomowoc, struck a deer at 6:13 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township. Knebel's 2016 Ford sustained minor damage.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:39 a.m. to County X in Elk Grove Township. The vehicle was unattended and appeared to have struck a deer.

• No injuries were reported when Stanley D. Yeazle, 74, Belmont, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 9:26 a.m. on Wis. 126 in Elk Grove Township. Yeazle was traveling on Wis. 126 when an object flew off of a grain truck and struck his front window. His 1999 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Nov. 8:

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 5:40 p.m. with a car versus deer crash in the W4700 block of County W.

On Friday:

• Police responded to a crash at 9:10 a.m. at the New Glarus High School parking lot. Both vehicles were driven from the scene and the crash remains under investigation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Justin M. Rolando, 29, Lena, Illinois, was involved in a one-vehicle crash with injuries at 3:06 a.m. at the intersection of County B and County M in the Town of Cadiz. Rolando was driving northbound on County M when he failed to negotiate the turn onto County B because of the dense fog. He proceeded to drive into the north ditch, his vehicle struck the embankment and then went airborne and landed in the field. Rolando experienced back pain and was transported to a local hospital by Green County EMS. He was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle was towed due to damage and no citations were issued. Browntown Fire also responded.

• Katie L. Janse, 33, Monroe, struck a deer in the W4000 block of Wisconsin 11 in Sylvester Township.

• Valerie R. Johnson, 39, Monticello, struck a deer in the N3900 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe Township.

• Barry L. Zeich, 63, Orfordville, struck a deer in the W3100 block of Wis. 11 in Sylvester Township.

• Alan C. Albright, 64, Browntown, struck a deer in the W5300 block of County P in Clarno Township.
