BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On Friday:

• A traffic crash was reported at 12:08 p.m. in the 2000 block of 1st Center Avenue. No citations were issued, as the crash occurred on private property.

• A truck was reported having hooked an overhead line at 12:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.



DARLINGTON POLICE

DARLINGTON - Jorge L. Diaz, 42, Darlington, was cited at 5 p.m. Friday for driving without a valid license and for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ohio Street and East Lucy Street.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - A driver received minor injuries at 12:36 p.m. Saturday after striking a light post in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Wisconsin 69.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, no injuries were reported after Zachary C. Voegeli, 31, Monroe, struck a deer in the N7000 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.

On Sunday:

• A driver sustained minor injuries at 2:22 a.m. after a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. Fritz C. Sandlin, 37, Albany, lost control of his vehicle, drove over an embankment and entered a ditch. Sandlin was arrested for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and declined medical attention. He was released pending court. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 2:24 a.m. after Ryan A. Goeke, 30, Monroe, entered a ditch and overturned in the N5700 block of County J, Town of Adams. Goeke was cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A hit-and-run was reported at 8:40 p.m. on West Church Road, Town of Wayne.

• No injuries were reported at 11:19 p.m. after Randal L. Paulson, 53, Gratiot, struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 10:45 p.m. after Katherine A. Johnson, 51, Gratiot, struck a sign while swerving to avoid a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
