Traffic Accidents: May 22, 2012

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Tyler Wenger, 22, Monroe, reported at 4:42 p.m. Sunday, May 20, that he hit a deer at about 7:30 p.m. the previous evening on Wisconsin 11. He told deputies he was uninjured, the deer ran off and he able to drive the car from the scene.

- Diane C. Phillips, 63, Madison, reported no injuries at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, May 20, when deputies responded to a car vs. deer crash in the N9600 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. The deer was not located.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Carroll A. Thomas, 51, Sturtevant, was transported by the Mineral Point Rescue Squad to Upland Hills Hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an ATV accident on the Cheese Country Trial in the Town of WIllow Springs. William G. Thomas, 58, also of Sturtevant, reportedly crashed into the other man's ATV. The ATVs were removed by a private party. The Mineral Point Fire Department also responded to the scene.
