MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 9 a.m. Saturday at 19th Street and 14th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Janet K. Ovadal, 33, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Gail D. Zeitler, 51, Monroe. Ovadal was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. She was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Both vehicles received moderate to extensive damage and were towed.

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Fifth Avenue near First Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Cherylrae A. Henderson, 54, Madison, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Richard and Jamie Engen, New Glarus. The Engens' vehicle received moderate damage.

MONROE - Deputies investigated a report of a vehicle in a ditch around 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the W700 block of Decatur Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Alizabeth A. Carroll, 23, Albany, left the road and hit a power pole. The case remains under investigation.
A vehicle driven by Dianne L. Leopold, 54, Monroe, hit a deer around 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the N5300 block of County J in Washington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Country Club Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Donna M. Olson, 53, Shullsburg, hit a vehicle driven by Brian S. Ruf, 48, Belmont. Ruf was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Ruf's vehicle was towed from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Alan J. Howery, 46, Darlington, hit a deer around 1:45 a.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
