MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 4:45 p.m. Friday at 11th Street and Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Ann K. Bush, 47, Monroe, hit a motorcycle driven by Phillip D. Frankford, 51, Monroe. Frankford sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 11 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Eighth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Delmar D. Zettle, 77, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Susan J. Homan, 44, Dakota, Ill. Zettle was cited for failing to yield the right of way. The vehicles received moderate damage.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 1 p.m. Saturday in the N9000 block of County CC. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Thomas A. McLean, 20, Belleville, hit a guard rail as McLean was sending a text message from his phone. The vehicle overturned. McLean sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic. He was arrested for drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, inattentive driving, failure to report an accident, underage person transporting intoxicants and open intoxicants in a vehicle.

Powers, 21, Argyle, left the road, went down an embankment and hit several rocks. The vehicle overturned. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Powers sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic. Powers was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident.

Fox, 16, Monroe, left the road and overturned in a ditch. Fox was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Fox was cited for a seat belt violation.
Deputies are investigating a report of damage to a vehicle, which was reported around 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the N400 block of Crosby Court. Donette H. Pate, 46, Brodhead, reported damage to her parked vehicle. The offending vehicle had fled the scene.
