Traffic Accidents: March 7, 2014

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday, March 5:

• Brandon D. Broshous, 22, Juda, was uninjured after his vehicle crashed into the ditch in the W4900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe at 5:47 a.m. Broshous was westbound on Wis. 11 when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road and entered the north ditch. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Two people were injured in a rollover crash in the N1600 block of Haddinger Road, Town of Clarno at 12:07 p.m. Angela R. Beaver, 17, rural Monroe, was southbound on Haddinger Road when she entered a snow drift that was across the road, then lost control of her vehicle and slid into the east side ditch where the vehicle overturned onto its roof. Beaver and her passenger, Samantha J. Hose, 17, Monroe, were transported by EMS to Monroe Clinic hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Beaver will be cited for driving too fast for conditions. Deputies, Monroe Fire and Green County EMS assisted on the scene

• Deputies responded to four separate reports of vehicles in the ditch throughout the county. In each instance there were no injuries or damages reported.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, March 5:

• Dennis C. Schulze, 25, Gratiot, was uninjured after a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 23, Willow Springs Township. Schulze was southbound on Wis. 23 when his vehicle traveled left of center and hit a snow bank on the east side of the road. Schulze's 2001 Pontiac sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Schulze was cited at 3:39 a.m. for driving under the influence, driving after revocation and driving without insurance. Schulze was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department where he remains jailed. Darlington Police assisted at the scene.

• Deputies responded to three separate reports of vehicles in the ditch around the county. In each of these instances no injuries or property damages were reported.
