Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On March 1:

• Injuries were reported during a motor vehicle crash at 5:14 a.m. in the N1600 block of Haddinger Road in the Town of Clarno. Timothy W. Anderson, 17, Monroe, was southbound when he reported a deer entered the road. Anderson then swerved to avoid the deer and struck a utility pole. Anderson was injured in the crash but declined to be transported by EMS. Anderson was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and was released pending court. Monroe Police Department, Monroe Fire Department, and Green County EMS also responded.

• No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 12:28 p.m. in the W8500 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Cadiz. Nathan N. Strahm Jr, 30, New Glarus, was eastbound when a load of hay fell off the back of his truck. The hay fell into the westbound lane where it was struck by a westbound vehicle that was operated by Stacey C. McGuire, 38, South Wayne. Strahm's truck sustained no damage. McGuire's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Strahm was cited for failure to secure load and was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On March 1:

• No injuries were reported when Tina Y. Dammen, 28, Argyle, struck a deer at 3:15 p.m. on Wis. 81, Argyle Township. Dammen's 2015 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
