MONROE POLICE
MONROE - A driver was injured at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday after a vehicle struck a trailer that became disconnected from its vehicle in the 100 block of 18th Avenue. The driver of the struck vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

MONROE - On Tuesday:
• No injuries were reported at 7:40 a.m. after Karlene M. Walters, 18, Monticello, drove into the path of Brett A. Child, 21, Monroe, at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and County C, Town of Mount Pleasant. Walters was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
• No injuries were reported at 9:08 p.m. after the vehicle of Delbert E. Rosenstiel, 74, Monroe, rolled down a hill and struck a tree after Rosenstiel exited the vehicle to retrieve his mail in the W6600 block of Patterson Road, Town of Clarno. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
