Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a bicycle vs. motor vehicle accident in Monroe at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, June 5. Judith A. Studer, 68, Monroe, was driving southbound on Wisconsin 69 through a green light at the intersection with 21st Street when the accident occurred. Bicyclist Marissa A. Beutel, 13, Monroe told deputies she believed Studer was preparing to turn westbound onto 21st Street, so she proceeded into the crosswalk against a Don't Walk signal. She collided with the side of Studer's vehicle, causing minor damage to the vehicle and very minor damage to her bicycle. Studer was wearing a seatbelt. Beutel was not using any safety equipment at the time of the accident. Both Studer's vehicle and Beutel's bicycle were operated from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Jayne A. Kurschner, 47, Darlington, reported at 10:56 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, that she hit a deer on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington Township.
