New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle collision in the 600 block of Railroad Street at 12:28 p.m. Sunday, June 23. Lori J. Brokopp, 37, Monticello, was backing her vehicle when she collided with a legally parked vehicle. There was no damage to Brokopp's vehicle and very minor damage to the parked vehicle.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a deer vs. vehicle crash at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, June 23, in the W6300 block of Wisconsin 11 in Monroe Township. Heidi M. Digman, 66, Monroe, was westbound when a deer entered the road and collided with her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Several large bales of hay were found blocking the lane of traffic on Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township at 9:11 a.m. Friday, June 21.

• No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Township at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, June 22. Brian R. Schilling, 29, Darlington, was northbound when he was unable to avoid being struck by a falling tree during the morning's storm. The 2012 Dodge truck was moderately damaged. Darlington police assisted with the accident report.

• A deputy responded to County G in Belmont Township at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, June 22, for a traffic complaint of a tree that had fallen across the road. The deputy assisted with traffic control until the tree was removed.

• Philip F. Vosberg, 52, Monroe, reported no injuries at 10:26 p.m. Saturday, June 22, after he hit a deer on County G in Argyle Township. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
