Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of 19th Street. Reports indicate that Bryce C. Zettle, 17, Juda, hit a vehicle driven by Susan M. Black, 48, Monroe. Zettle was cited for unsafe backing.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday on County EE, at County X, in the Town of Albany. Reports indicate that Steven Albright, 25, Orangeville, was traveling east on County EE when a milk truck, driven by Norman Pratt, 44, Brodhead, pulled out from a stop sign at the intersection of County X and County EE and was proceeding south across County EE to go onto Tin Can Road, when Pratt hit Albright's vehicle. Albright was then forced off the north side of the road and into the ditch. Albright received non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles received severe damage and had to be towed. Pratt was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and for a seatbelt violation.

- Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 69, at Pierce Road, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. Reports indicate that Glenn M. Harmon 54, Lena, was northbound on Wis. 69, and attempted to turn onto Pierce Road when he hit a southbound vehicle, driven by Jack M. Finkel 56, Fitchburg. Finkel and a passenger in Harmon's vehicle, Pamela D. Harmon, 78, received non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday on County OK, near County, SS, in the Town of Decatur. Reports indicate that a 16-year-old Brodhead man reportedly took his mother's car without her permission, failed to negotiate a curve, entered the ditch and collided with a fence. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. He was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license and operating too fast for conditions. The suspect will be referred to Green County Juvenile Intake for operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Marlene M. Rygh, 51, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.
