Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies located a motor vehicle crash at about 1 a.m. Monday on County Y, just east of Hiawatha Road in Monroe township. Deputies report that a vehicle driven by Dominick L. Olesen, 26, Woodford, was on County Y when a deer collided with the vehicle. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Deputies located an unoccupied vehicle at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, which had been involved in a motor vehicle crash in the N5700 Block of County NN in New Glarus township. Deputies report that a vehicle driven by Charles D. Howden, 19, rural New Glarus, was driving westbound on County NN when he observed a deer in the road. Howden swerved to miss the deer and collided with the ditch. Howden had walked to his residence after the crash. He sustained an injury, but didn't seek medical attention. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Howden will be cited for a mandatory seat belt violation.

• Leonardo Hernandez Sanchez, 26, Janesville, was driving westbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 3:45 a.m. Monday on Wisconsin 11, just east of County M, in Cadiz Township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Sanchez was cited for operating with a suspended driver's license and released pending court.

• Mark A. Hensel, 56, Monticello, was northbound when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 5 a.m. Monday in the N7700 block of County CC in Exeter Township. Hensel's vehicle spun around in the roadway and entered the ditch where it collided with an embankment. Hensel sustained an injury in the crash, but declined medical attention at the scene. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Richard T. Deprez, 31, Monroe, was traveling south when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with his vehicle at about 6 p.m. Monday on County CC near Exeter Crossing Road in Exeter Township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Spore Road in Argyle township. Deputies report Kyle Geissbuhler, 18, Darlington, lost control of his vehicle and left the road. Geissbuhler was cited for failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
