MONROE - No injuries reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:39 a.m. Friday on County E, north of Zweifel Road, in the Town of Brooklyn. Robert D. Ostby Jr., 38, Monroe, reported that he was driving north on County E when he hit a deer. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
- No injuries were reported during an ATV accident at 4:02 p.m. Saturday on the Tri-County Trail in Monroe. Frederick A. Miene, 41, Denver, Iowa, reported that he attempted to turn around on the trail and his right side tires entered the ditch, causing the ATV to roll onto its side. Miene reported that he was not wearing a helmet, but was wearing eye protection. The ATV had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
- Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle accident that occurred at about 12:08 a.m. Sunday in the West 8500 block of County B in Town of Cadiz. A preliminary investigation found that the vehicle was traveling westbound on County B when the operator lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle entered the south ditch and overturned, coming to a rest on its wheels. The operator and occupants fled the scene of the crash and were not located. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was impounded at the Sheriff's Department.
- Deputies responded to a vehicle in a ditch at 6:47 a.m. Sunday in the West 8400 block of County H in the Town of York. An investigation resulted in the driver, Brooke E. Maki-Catlin 23, Madison, being arrested for first-offense driving a vehicle while intoxicated. Maki-Catlin was cited for a prohibited alcohol concentration, failure to maintain control and driving a vehicle with suspended registration. The vehicle was towed. Maki-Catlin was released to a responsible party.

DARLINGTON - Justina M. Schmitz, 20, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:54 a.m. Friday on Ferndale Road in the Town of Willow Springs. The vehicle received moderate damage.
- James A. Strommen, 56, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 9:48 p.m. Friday on County H in the Town of Blanchard.
