MONROE - Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident at about 3 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11 and Wis. 69. Police report a motorcycle driven by Thomas F. Buckley, 54, Waukesha, was traveling east when a gust of wind caused the motorcycle to enter the median. Buckley and his passenger, Diane L. Thames, 49, Waukesha, were taken to the Monroe Clinic. They were cited for open intoxicants.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. Friday at 8th Street and 3rd Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Nancy B. Stransky, 59, David, Ill., collided with a vehicle driven by Traci L. Studer, 41, Monticello. Stransky was cited for failure to yield.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Friday in the N200 block of County T in Spring Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Steven R. Wucki, 45, Madison, failed to negotiate a curve due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle left the road, went into a ditch and hit several trees. He sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. He was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3 p.m. Friday on Wis. 59 east of Towns Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Carol A. Nickols, 49, Albany, received moderate damage when a tree fell on her vehicle.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Friday in the W8500 block of Wis. 11 in Cadiz township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael D. Pfaff, 39, Janesville, hydroplaned, went into the ditch and hit an embankment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Chad E. Propst, 36, Evansville, collided with a deer at about 10 p.m. Friday on County EE west of County E in Albany township. The vehicle received minor damage.
