Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday on River Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a mo-ped driven by Jill Klossner, 43, Monticello, went into a ditch. Klossner was taken to the Monroe Clinic by private vehicle. She was not wearing a helmet or eye protection at the time of the crash. The mo-ped received minor damage.

• Jeremy D. Golackson, 39, Janesville, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, driving after suspension and inattentive driving following a two-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 at the intersection of Wis. 81 and County GG. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Golackson rear-ended a vehicle driven by Mellisa A. Gamez, 29, Beloit as she slowed to turn onto Wis. 81. Golackson told deputies he was reaching for his phone at the time of the crash. The vehicles received moderate damage. Golackson was released pending court.

• Kanen J.C. Smith, 26, Durand, Ill., was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration after deputies discovered a vehicle in a ditch at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the W900 block of County E.

• A vehicle driven by Jason L. Ellenson, 26, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 7:45 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 39 east of Duerst Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Kathryn J. Brokaw, 65, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, collided with a deer at about 9 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 west of Mount Hope Road. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Jaqueline K. Best, 46, Albany, collided with a deer at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Sandy Hook Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Alan E. Kuhn, 46, Wauwatosa, collided with a deer at about 9 p.m. Saturday in the N2500 block of County GG. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Daniel E. Bach, 17, Gratiot, was slowing to make a left turn without signaling and when a vehicle driven by Kayla E. Buttke, 16, Brodhead, began to pass. Buttke was cited for violating a graduated license restriction. Bach was cited for failure to signal to turn and unsafe lane deviation. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• Nathan Reuter, 19, Hazel Green, was arrested for drunken driving following a report of a one-vehicle accident at about 1 a.m. Monday on Kennedy Road in Benton township.

• April Dicks, 28, Gratiot, was arrested for drunken driving and driving after suspension following a hit-and-run accident reported at about 1 a.m. Monday in South Wayne.

• A vehicle driven by Jeremiah J. Fitzsimons, 32, Darlington, hit a deer at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Seymour township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Andrea K. Kelly, 21, Lancaster, hit a deer at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Ronald Kliebenstein, 57, Darlington, hit a deer at about 5:15 p.m. Monday on County G in Willow Springs township.
