New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. July 21 in the 1300 block of Wisconsin 69. Police report vehicles driven by Corey M. Rahberger, 18, Belleville, and Feliz M. Tellez, 29, Monticello, collided. Tellez was cited for driving without a license. The vehicles received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 near Melvin Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lance R. Thruman, 38, Monroe, crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by Dane S. Fredel, 20, Freeport, Ill. Fredel and a passenger, Cameron J. Davis, 18, Freeport, and Thruman were taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. Thruman was arrested for causing injury while drunken driving and driving left of center. He was released pending court. The vehicles received extensive damage and were towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the N8900 block of County H. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Rome D. Weeden, 30, Monroe, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and rolled. Weeden was arrested for second-offense drunken driving and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured when a forklift fell off a truck driven by Calvin R. Janisch, 70, Janesville at about 8 a.m. Saturday on County C east of Trumpy Road in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report the forklift received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Russell L. Moen, 69, Blanchardville, hit a deer at about 9 p.m. Saturday in the W8400 block of Wis. 81.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Pablo Andrade Rivero, 20, Galena, Ill., left the road, went into a ditch and hit a highway sign and a tree. He was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County and later transferred to a Madison hospital. He was arrested for drunken driving, failure to have vehicle under control, driving without a license and not wearing a seatbelt. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from.

• A vehicle driven by Jamie R. Rice, 34, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 4:30 a.m. Friday on County U in Seymour township. The vehicle received moderate damages.
