MONROE - On Thursday:
Kelly L. Maynard, 39, Janesville, reported being involved in a one-vehicle rollover crash at 2:42 a.m. She reportedly swerved to avoid hitting a deer and went into a ditch. Her car hit a tree, ran over logs and overturned. Maynard reported being injured but declined immediate medical attention. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
Patricia A. Strouse, 70, Brooklyn, hit a vehicle driven by John P. Rhiner, 19, Brooklyn, twice and hit another vehicle at 10:34 a.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street in Brooklyn. The other vehicle Strouse hit was owned by Thomas Schmidt of Brooklyn. No injuries were reported. Strouse and Rhiner's vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Schmidt's vehicle sustained minor damage.
Wayne M. Johnson, 54, Albany, reported spilling 52,000 pounds of fertilizer after the load he was pulling behind a semi truck flipped at 2:34 p.m. on Wisconsin 92 at Glenway Road in the Town of Brooklyn. Johnson told police he was negotiating a curve and his load shifted. No injuries were reported. He was cited for failing to maintain control of a moving vehicle and was released. The highway was closed for about four hours.
