MONROE - Jessie L. Hanson, 34, Monroe, was cited for inattentive driving and operating after suspension at 6:06 p.m. Thursday after he hit a parked vehicle in the 500 block of 20th Avenue.

MONROE - On Thursday:
• James P. Danos, 72, Santa Maria, Ill., was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash at 12:40 p.m. on Wisconsin 39 at Duerst Road in the Town of New Glarus. Danos reportedly lost control while negotiating a curve and went into a ditch. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene
• Michelle E. Kachel, 17, Monticello, reported being in a one-car crash at 6:14 p.m. in the N7300 block of Dougherty Creek Road in the Town of York. Kachel told police a vehicle traveling the opposite way splashed water onto her windshield, and she lost control, went into a ditch and hit a fence. Her vehicle came to rest partially in a creek. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
