MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street. Bonita J. Holmes, 81, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old man from Sullivan. Holmes was cited at 12:28 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn.

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Alvaro Jose Ronaldo Cifuentes-Monzon, 19, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 59 near Broughton Lane, Town of Albany, at 12 a.m. Cifuentes-Monzon was southbound on Wis. 59 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was removed from the scene.

• Richard R. Anderson, 48, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Melvin Road east of Clarno Road, Town of Clarno, at 1:13 p.m. Anderson was eastbound on Melvin Road when he reportedly fell asleep. His truck entered the ditch, hit a tree, and then came back onto the roadway before entering the ditch again and hitting a different tree. The truck was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
