MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Wisconsin 59 and Wis. 104. Deputies report a vehicle driven by John A. Meier, 57, rural Juda, was stopped at the intersection when he started to back up and collided with a second vehicle driven by Pamela J. Parker, 46, Evansville. No damage to the vehicles was reported.
Deputies were called about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Monroe Clinic Hospital emergency room to investigate a report of an ATV crash that occurred on private property off the W7000 block of Wis. 11 in Clarno township. Deputies report that an 11-year-old female, rural Monroe, was operating the ATV when it backfired, stalled and lurched forward, ejecting her from the ATV. The girl received non-life-threatening injuries from landing on a barbed wire fence.
