Lafayette County Sheriff

• Andrew T. Kulas, 29, Monroe, reported hitting a raccoon at 4:58 a.m. on Wisconsin 81, Elk Grove Township.

• Joan M. Steinhart, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 5:25 a.m. on Wis. 81, Seymour Township.

• Jarred A. Altfillisch, 22, Scales Mound, Ill., reported hitting a deer at 10:14 p.m. Sunday, on County U, White Oak Springs Township.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Sofia Hernandez-Miranda, 21, Darlington, was cited at 11 a.m. Friday, for hit-and-run, driving without a valid driver's license, driving without insurance, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to notify police of an accident. She was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Gutzmer Road and Sulzer Road, Town of Washington. Brittany Corbin Sandlin, 29, Monticello, was westbound on Sulzer Road turning onto Gutzmer Road and hit a northbound vehicle driven by James Henry Frankowski, 19, Monticello. Sandlin sustained minor injuries and was transported via Green County EMS to a local hospital. Frankowski was uninjured and his vehicle was towed from the scene. Sandlin's vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. She was cited at 12:18 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way from a yield sign and possession of drug paraphernalia in the form of a pipe.

• Holly M. Nilles, 33, Monticello, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W6800 block of Farmers Grove Road, Town of York. Nilles was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
