MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 11:27 a.m. after a hit-and-run collision in the 1500 block of 9th Street. Daria Lynn Beutel, 23, Blanchardville, was cited for committing a hit-and-run against an unattended vehicle. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

• No injuries were reported at 12:58 p.m. after a hit-and-run collision in the 300 block of 6th Avenue. Charlene P. Nielsen, 81, Monroe, was cited for committing a hit-and-run against an unattended vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 4:36 p.m. after a hit-and-run collision in the 2000 block of 13th Avenue. The driver of the offending vehicle was identified as Tara K. Kleinhans, 46, Monroe. The case remains under investigation.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported at 10:24 a.m. Saturday after a two-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Railroad Street. Thomas L. Alderman, 71, New Glarus, was backing onto Railroad Street when he struck another vehicle, which had stopped to accommodate a pedestrian. Alderman was cited for unsafe backing. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 9:25 p.m. after Cheri M. Dallman, 47, Brooklyn, struck a deer in the N4900 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Albany. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• A driver was injured at 9:28 a.m. after Scott A. Nesbitt, 47, Monroe, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kevin R. Wyss, 47, Monroe, on Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. Nesbitt was injured in the crash and was transported to the Monroe Clinic. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.

• No injuries were reported after Carmen M. Craker, 47, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W5100 block of County W, Town of New Glarus.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:46 a.m. after Carla J. Gray, 28, Mount Horeb, swerved to avoid a deer in the N9600 block of Wis. 78, Town of York, and rolled over in a ditch. Gray was cited for driving with a suspended license. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A motorcycle passenger was injured at 7:04 p.m. in the N8100 block of County D, Town of Exeter. Jeffrey M. Phillips, 35, Verona, had stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. When he resumed driving, the acceleration ejected his passenger, Sharina M. B. Orabi, 25, Verona, from the rear of the motorcycle. Orabi was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. Phillips was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:25 p.m. after Greg A. Schulte, 55, Darlington, struck a deer on County F, Town of Darlington. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• A driver received minor injuries at 8:13 p.m. after Tyler J. Ernst, 17, Cuba City, lost control of his vehicle and rolled over in a ditch on B and C Road, Town of Shullsburg. Ernst declined medical treatment and was cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:06 p.m. after Arthur C. Teasdale, 67, Sun Prairie, backed into a parked motorcycle on West Estey Street in Shullsburg. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 9:05 p.m. after Kenneth E. Sandahl, 88, Apple River, Ill., struck a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota. His vehicle sustained minor damage.
