NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported at 2:12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, after a 2002 Dodge Durango driven by John S. Page, 16, New Glarus, reportedly slid into a utility pole in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue.

MONROE - Kristen L. Walters, 17, South Wayne, was injured but declined medical attention at the scene of a one-vehicle crash reported at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, on County B at Dill Road in the Town of Cadiz. Walters was traveling westbound on County B when she lost control of the vehicle, hit two road signs and a phone junction box, slid down an embankment and overturned. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
- Deputies responded on Sunday, Jan. 22, to a total of eight vehicles stuck in ditches around Green County due to weather-related road conditions. No injuries or damages were reported in these incidents.
- Jordan A. Licke, 18, Monroe, and his passenger reported no injuries after deputies responded at 7:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, to a one-vehicle crash in the W6900 block of Smock Valley Road in the Town of Monroe. Licke failed to negotiate a curve and veered into an embankment, hitting a barbed-wire fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - A deputy and the Belmont Fire Department assisted with traffic control at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, after a semi jack-knifed on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont. The driver, Kevin R. Wampole, 56, Deerfield, reported no injuries. The truck sustained minor damage.
- No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on County F in the Town of Fayette at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, after Michelle K. Thomas, 36, Darlington, lost control on the icy road and crossed into the opposite ditch and hit a fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene after it was pulled from the ditch.
- Nathan M. Moris, 23, Cuba City, suffered a leg injury and was transported to a Dubuque hospital by Cuba City EMS after a snowmobiling accident reported at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, near Southwest Road in the Town of Benton. Moris was ejected from the snowmobile after he hit a drainage pipe and lost control.
- Michael S. Rogers, 54, Shullsburg, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Lake Road in the Town of Fayette at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, after he lost control on the icy road, swerved into a ditch and hit a road sign. Rogers was able to remove his vehicle from the ditch and drive it away.
- No injuries were reported in an accident on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Gratiot at 4:24 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, after Yoel I. Wonsey, 18, Bolingbrook, Ill., told deputies an unknown pickup truck in the opposing lane caused him to lose control of a 2006 Honda Civic and swerve into the ditch, where the car rolled over and came to a rest on its roof. The pickup truck continued on Wis. 78. The Honda Civic was extensively damaged and towed from the scene.
- Travis M. Freese, 23, East Dubuque, Ill., reported no injuries at 5:03 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, after he lost control of a 2001 Chevrolet truck on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont and slid into the median. The truck was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
- Over the weekend of Jan. 20-22, deputies assisted with 16 vehicles that slid into ditches. No injuries or damages were reported in these incidents, or in six other reported incidents of disabled vehicles on Lafayette County roads.
