Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Demetrius M. Brown, 22, Gary, Ind., and his passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the W8600 block of Smock Valley Road, Town of Cadiz, at 8:11 a.m. Saturday. Brown was traveling northeast on County M when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve due to the icy roadway and the vehicle slid off the road into the ditch. Brown was cited for driving without a license and was released pending court. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the ditch.

On Sunday:

• Non life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 81 near Dolan Lane, Town of Monroe. Andie E. Jorgenson, 17, Monroe, was cited at 9:58 a.m. for too fast for conditions after her vehicle rear-ended a vehicle that was eastbound on Wis. 81. The driver of the rear-ended vehicle, Margarito Sarmiento, 19, Monroe, sustained an injury but declined treatment. Sarmiento was cited for driving without a license and driving without insurance. His vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Jorgenson's vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene. Both subjects were released pending court. Snow and ice on the roadway contributed to the accident.

• Steven J. Meade, 37, Blanchardville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Disrud Road east of Saw Mill Road, Town of Adams, at 10:01 a.m. Meade was eastbound on Disrud Road when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and slid off the south side of the road and hit a tree. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• Daniella A. Parr, 23, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on County B at County HK, Town of Cadiz, at 1:41 p.m. Parr was eastbound on County B when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roadway. Her vehicle slid into the ditch and then hit a road sign. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.

• Tyler J. Abraham, 21, Evansville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 59 near Burkhalter Road, Town of Sylvester. Abraham was cited at 2:39 p.m. for driving without insurance and driving with insufficient tread after he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and entered the south ditch of Wis. 59. Abraham told deputies he lost control because there was a second vehicle in the opposite lane, fish-tailing through the corner. Abraham's vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. He was released pending court.

• William J. Roth III, 17, Juda, was uninjured after his vehicle hit a dairy calf in the W3100 block of County KS, Town of Jefferson, at 5:37 p.m. Roth was westbound when the calf entered the roadway from a farm and hit his vehicle. The owner of the calf, Jeremy A. Luckey, 28, Juda, took custody of the calf. Roth's vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Kim Trumble, 60, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Faymont Road Lamont Township, at 8:15 p.m.

• A deputy responded to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle accident on County N, Wayne Township.

• Tony Monahan, 54, Argyle, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Wis. 81, Argyle Township, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday:

• Amy Corley, 29, South Wayne, sustained non life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on County D, Village of South Wayne, at 8:57 a.m. Corley was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve due to the icy roadway and hit a power pole. Corley's vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene. South Wayne First Response and Monroe Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• Camron Zywicki, 26, Darlington, was cited at 10:25 p.m. for failure to have control of a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident on County F, Blanchardville Township. Zywicki was uninjured after he lost control of his westbound vehicle in a curve and left the roadway hitting several small trees and a fence line. His vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
