Monroe Police

MONROE - On Wednesday, Jan. 29:

• Burton L. Rundall, 76, Freeport, was uninjured in a two-vehicle accident on 8th Street and 1st Avenue. Rundall was cited at 10:02 a.m. for failure to yield while making a left turn when he hit a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old female from Mount Horeb.

• Police were dispatched at 4:38 p.m. to Wis. 69 and 17th Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. Joseph E. Koning, 54, Oregon, Ill., was operating a vehicle that hit a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old male from Monroe. Koning was cited for an improper right turn.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jacqueline J. Siegel, 40, Argyle, was uninjured in a car vs. deer collision in the N2500 block of Cadiz Springs Road, Town of Cadiz at about 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Siegel was southbound on Cadiz Spring Road when a deer hit her vehicle. Her vehicle sustained severe damage to the front passenger side quarter panel, hood and front bumper. The vehicle entered the east ditch following the collision.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Mikayla Jo Riley, 19, Darlington, and April M. Brant, 21, Darlington, were uninjured in a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 23, Willow Springs Township at 3:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Riley was slowing to a stop to turn west, when the vehicle driven by Brant could not stop in time to avoid hitting Riley's vehicle. Riley's vehicle sustained minor damage, and Brant's vehicle sustained moderate damage.
