MONROE - On Thursday, Jan. 16:
Deputies, Monroe Fire and Monroe EMS responded at 3:29 p.m. to Wis. 59 near Monroe-Sylvester Road for a head-on collision with injuries. Frank Lynn Jr., 46, Edgerton was injured when he lost control while driving southbound on Wis. 59 and could not negotiate the curve. Lynn hit a vehicle driven by Tracey L. Reich, 43, Monroe head-on as she was driving north on Wis. 59. Lynn's passenger was extracted from the vehicle. All three individuals were transported to Monroe E.R. by Monroe EMS with undisclosed injuries. Lynn will be cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating with a suspended driver's license.
Deputies responded to a crash at 3:47 p.m. on Feldt Road in Sylvester Township. Derek J. Myhand, 30, Monticello, was uninjured after he said he heard a pop come from the front part of his truck. Myhand lost control of his truck and hit a tree.
Deputies responded at 5:55 p.m. to Wis. 11 east of Smock Valley road in Monroe Township for a motor vehicle crash. Tanner J. Schiferl, 18, South Wayne, was uninjured when he lost control of his vehicle headed westbound on the ice and snow-covered roadway. The vehicle left the roadway and hit a traffic sign.

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Jan. 16:
Deputies responded at 2:30 p.m. to reports of several slide-offs and vehicles in the ditch at various locations in Lafayette County due to the slippery road conditions and blowing snow. No injuries or property damage were reported from those incidents.
A deputy responded at 2:45 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township. David J. Brunskill, 65, Shullsburg, was uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle due to slippery road conditions traveling eastbound. Brunskill traveled across the highway and hit a snow embankment.
A deputy responded at 3:50 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 126 in Elk Grove Township. Ruth M. Houtakker, 75, Cuba City, was uninjured after she entered a white-out traveling southbound on Wis. 126 and hit a vehicle operated by Joyce W. Riechers, 84, Darlington, in the rear. Reichers was also uninjured as was Houtakker's passenger Debora J. Hilby, 52, Cuba City.
