Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of 20th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Rolland D. Coplien, 66, Juda, hit a vehicle driven by Abel Garcia Cano, 25, Monroe. Coplien was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Cano was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license and a warrant issued by the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department. The vehicles received minor damages.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at 11th Street and 18th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Alexander Abplanalp, 53, Janesville, hit a vehicle driven by Sally A. Peters, 54, New Glarus. Abplanalp was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the W6600 block of Wisconsin 11. Deputies report a semi driven by Rodney E. Jaeger, 35, Worthington, Iowa, was transporting a road grader when the road grader blade hit the blade of a snowplow driven by Michael H. Hughes, 68, Monroe. There was minor damage to both blades.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in the N8500 block of Sandy Hook Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Donna J. MacNaughton, 61, Albany, went into the ditch due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident that took place around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Glenene G. Hardel, 52, Monroe, slid into a ditch.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on County G. Deputies report a truck pulling a trailer and driven by Arthur P. Thompson, 43, Argyle, began to slide and the trailer jack-knifed in the road.
