NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - A vehicle driven by Kari L. Westphal, 30, Fitchburg, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 69 near 14th Street. The vehicle received moderate damage.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE- No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday on North Klondike Road in Jordan township. Deputies report a truck driven by Robert H. Kegebein, 70, Monroe, was plowing out a driveway and was positioned sideways in the road when a vehicle driven by Tyler J. Rupnow, 18, Monroe, crested a hill. Rupnow braked and slid down the hill and collided with the plow blade. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the N5200 block of Wis. 59. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kristal K. Gille, 25, Evansville, left the road due to slippery roads. She was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about midnight Friday on Wis. 69 and County P. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lisa A. Redington, 43, Freeport, Ill., was sideswiped by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene. Redington's vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 north of Gutzmer Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Janice Knowles, 71, Monroe, went into a ditch due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 south of County FF. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lawrence K. Leitsinger, 61, Monroe, left the road and overturned due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 59 near Monroe-Sylvester Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jessica E. Briggs, 24, Dubuque, Iowa, slid into a ditch due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday in the N7000 block of Holstein Prairie Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dianne M. Dunks, 51, Blanchardville, left the road and slid into a ditch, causing damage to her vehicle's tires. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Michael D. Iverson, 26, Waterford, collided with a deer at about 6 p.m. on County W near Argue Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Daniel F. Kinney, 67, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 7 p.m. Sunday in the N8200 block of Sandy Hook Road in Brooklyn township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Thomas A. Aberhard, 19, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 7 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 south of County C. The vehicle received minor damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday on Everson Road in Argyle township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Renee J. Rufer, 42, Monroe, slid off the road, went through a fence and came to rest in a field. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• Matthew L. Miller, 23, Scales Mound, Ill., was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, hit and run and failure to have control of his vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday on County W in Benton township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road, went down an embankment, through a fence and came to rest in a creek in a pasture. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. He was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Friday on Walnut Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Harold Nelson, 18, South Wayne, collided with a vehicle driven by David Hagen, 50, Mount Horeb. Nelson told deputies he lost control of his vehicle due to slippery road conditions.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Alberto Lobato, 27, Monroe, left the road and hit a utility pole. Lobato was cited for inattentive driving. His vehicle received extensive damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Friday on Roller Coaster Road in Darlington township. Deputies report Joshua Singer, Darlington, was not injured but was trapped in his vehicle. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Chase Crull, 18, Hollandale, left the road due to slippery road conditions.

• A vehicle driven by Kyle Thuli, 21, Darlington, hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Friday on County G in Willow Springs township.
